Clean and seal process:
This method is commonly used by cleaning companies.
It consists of stripping the floor to remove any polish/old seal and applying new coats of impregnator or surface seal, that will give to the stone a semi-gloss to a gloss finish.
The process is ideal to archive re-fresh floor, this will not remove any scratches. Strip process is similar to deep cleaning; including grout cleaning and sealing.

-apply a coat of sealant (water/ solvent based- depend on pre-existing sealant); in this step will pay attention to the grout area in special.
What cleaning and sealing can achieve
Cleaning and sealing is a maintenance treatment for a floor whose surface and grout need a thorough clean and renewed protection. The existing coating and the flooring material should be identified before work begins, because an impregnating sealer and a surface coating behave differently. A compatible product is selected after cleaning, with attention to grout lines and areas that absorb product unevenly.
How the treatment is planned
First, loose dirt and residues are removed. The floor and grout are then cleaned using methods appropriate for the material and any old coating. Once the surface is thoroughly dry, a suitable sealant can be applied according to the manufacturer’s directions. The finished sheen depends on the surface and the selected product; sealing does not automatically produce a gloss finish.
This treatment helps with routine maintenance, but it cannot level a floor or erase scratches, cracks and deeper damage.
