Cleaning properly the crack/hole
Also it should be treated with strong cleaner and wax remover, otherwise the filling material doesn’t stick.
Filling process: can be used a polyester glue or epoxy resin
After the repair process, the repaired area will be polished with different abrasive diamonds and powder polishing product.
Assessing chips and cracks
The right repair depends on the flooring material, the depth of the defect and whether the area is stable. A small chip may be filled locally, while a moving crack or loose tile can indicate a problem that filler alone will not solve. We check the affected area and the existing finish before recommending a repair method and an achievable visual match.
Repair and finishing process
The damaged area must be cleaned and prepared so that the selected resin or filler can bond. The repair material is then placed and allowed to cure before excess material is levelled and the surface is finished. Colour and pattern matching can make a repair less conspicuous, but natural variation and lighting may mean a repaired area remains visible on close inspection.
Repairing a chip is different from treating widespread wear. Where the surrounding floor also needs work, floor restoration may be considered after local defects are addressed.
