50 year old terrazzo floor restoration

Surface: Terrazzo Floor

Services: 50-year-old terrazzo floor restoration

Location: 42 Keyes Road, Cricklewood

At 42 Keyes Road in Cricklewood, Stone Rescue worked on a 50-year-old terrazzo floor. The project involved structural repairs and the visible surface, so the work began beneath the terrazzo before polishing.

The team carried out targeted subfloor and structural repairs, injecting resin to stabilise the floor. Chips and other surface imperfections were addressed with a custom blend of marble chips and coloured stone filler to blend the repairs with the surrounding terrazzo.

Once the repairs were complete, the floor was polished to the satin finish requested by the client. The before-and-after photographs below document the surface and the result of this restoration. Each stage was selected for the condition of this particular floor.
