Marble Worktop scratch and stain removal

Description:

This London project concerns a white Carrara marble worktop with scratches and stains. The original notes mention gluing, repolishing and sealing, so the scope combines local repair with surface restoration. The gallery contains several views of the worktop, allowing the visible finish to be considered across the slab rather than at one spot.

Carrara marble has natural veining, and damage can affect both its appearance and how a repair blends into the surrounding stone. Polishing can improve surface scratches or dullness, while an absorbed stain or deep mark may need a different treatment. A sealer can help reduce staining but cannot stop acidic spills etching the marble. The original case record does not guarantee that all marks disappeared or state a product lifespan. This page documents the London assignment and its visible result for comparison with similar worktop enquiries.
