Terrazzo floor and windowsill restoration

Stone Rescue worked on a terrazzo floor and windowsill at the Norwich Police Station project. The photograph shows a technician working beside the glazing, with the adjacent window area protected.

Grinding, polishing and sealing

The recorded work included grinding the terrazzo surface, polishing it to refine the finish and applying a sealer. These stages need to suit the condition of the floor and windowsill. The level of surface preparation and the final finish are assessed for each area, particularly around edges and fittings.

The photograph documents work in progress; the treatment and finish required on a different floor or windowsill should be assessed individually.
